During the late 1970's and early 1980's, Porn Star Jessie St. James was one of the prettiest faces in porn. An absolutely stunning blonde beauty, Jessie St. James brought a touch of class to all her roles. Jessie St. James had the look of a cover girl and the brazenly sexual nature of a born pornstress. Jessie St. James' naturally curvaceous, perfectly proportioned figure was a vision that could induce lust at fifty paces. A good actress as well, Jessie St. James has one of the most expressive faces in the biz. Jessie St. James got into hardcore in 1975 with a short appearance in 'Blue Heat.' She shot sex films sporadically over the next few years, then jumped in with both feet in 1979. Jessie St. James was a bit older than some of her contemporaries, but that didn't slow her down one bit. Jessie St. James was known as one of the most dependably erotic performers around, and her energy and enthusiasm were the stuff of industry legend. Jessie St. James' stock-in-trade was playing undersexed housewives or schoolteachers who are introduced into the world of erotic pleasure. Most of her best performances will find her playing one or the other of these roles. Her portrayal of the unsatisfied wife of Eric Edwards in 1981's 'Charli' simmers with passion, as does her turn as the bigamist in 1983's 'Between Lovers.' Her best scene may just be her lushly sensual encounter with John Leslie on the veranda of an English estate in the classic 'Insatiable,' but any one of her appearances is sure to get a rise out of any audience. Jessie St. James continued appearing in porn throughout the 80's, eventually leaving the biz for good by 1990.
