Back in the late 1980's, there was a boom in the popularity of big-breasted, brassy ladies with nasty attitudes and the willingness to go for what they wanted. La Dawn started her hardcore career in 1988 after years of being a top nude model. She was already well known to big-boob fans from her cover-girl work in specialty mags when she broke into porn. From the start, it was plain to see that La Dawn was cut out for the role of porn queen. She threw herself into her roles with a ruthless sexuality that demanded the most out of her partners. Some of her best work can be found in the chesty epic 'Top Heavy,' where her scorcher with Marty Newmar steals the show. La Dawn consistently churned and burned her way through lots of flicks with titles like 'Breast Wishes 2' and 'Girls Of The Double D' . She also had a taste for kink, and turned up in lots of turn-of-the-decade bondage and fetish tapes in addition to her more mainstream hardcore work. La Dawn left the scene in late 1991, hanging up her bra with over 40 features to its credit.
