With almost as many ways to spell her name as she has porn flicks to her credit, Porn Star Moniya can sometimes be a hard gal to track down. It's well worth the effort, though, because she was one of the most exciting black women on the scene during the late 90s. Moniya was born in New York City in 1978 and grew up into a lean, lithesome beauty with a street-smart attitude towards life and lust. She's got an absolutely killer body, with natural curves packed tightly onto her leggy frame. It's clear that this gal has spent some time on strip club stages, as her maneating approach to her work sometimes points up. Moniya first got into hardcore in 1997. She showed up in a smattering of black-themed videos, including a head-spinning turn in 'Sugar Walls 4.' There, Moniya impressed with her incredible oral abilities, treating Mr. Marcus to a feverish fling that was the highlight of the vid. Even hotter was 'My Baby Got Back 12,' where Moniya hooked up with Monique and Julian St. Jox for a slam-bang threeway tryst. She joined Julian St. Jox for a memorable one-on-one session in 'Paradise in Black,' and showed off her skill at Sapphic sizzle when she took on the lovely Seduction in 'I've Never Done This Before.' After her initial string of flicks, Moniya disappeared from the scene for a bit. It became clear what she was up to when she returned in 1999 -- pregnant. Moniya shot a couple of steamy flicks like 'Ready to Drop 25,' where she and Rod Fontana enjoyed a surprisingly hot session. She dropped out of sight soon afterwards, and hasn't been seen or heard from since. Here's hoping that Moniya and her child are doing fine, because her passionate performances insured that her fans would be fine for some time to come.
