For most of the 90s, Paul Cox was a stalwart on the hardcore scene. A do-anything coxswain whose love of his job came through in every thrust, Cox made the most of his time in the porn sun. He experienced the industry from every angle, working his way up through the ranks to establish himself as one of the most capable and reliable studs around. Cox was born on February 7, 1967. By the time he was in his mid-twenties, he had turned into quite the swarthy specimen of masculinity. He made his move into porn in 1992 on the arm of then-gal pal Gayle Michelle. The couple can be seen together in a few early videos that they made together for Total Video. They starred in a string of amateur flicks under the title 'Total Productions 1-08,' then branched out into fully plotted features like 'Hypnotic Passions' and 'Anal Squeeze.' It was during his stint working with Gayle and Total that Cox made his one and only appearance behind the cameras. He directed and starred in 1992's 'Kinky Roommates,' showing himself to be capable even in his first time out. Cox decided to concentrate on his performing career though, especially once he and Michelle split. Among the best flicks of Cox's early period is 'Anniversary,' where he hooks up with nubile nymphette Sierra in a feverish frolic. Within a couple of years Cox had moved into the forefront of the scene, appearing in lots of flicks for top-flight companies like Sin City and Evil Angel. Most of his work came between 1996 and 1998, when he was shooting several scenes each and every week. Somehow his ardor never flagged, and Cox became a favorite of co-stars and producers alike. Cox was the prototypical porn stud, a guy who was ready and willing to have sex anywhere, at any time, with just about anyone. From a scorching group grope with Christi Lake in 'Gang Bang Bitches 11' to a rough-edged one-on-one with Christina Angel in 'Possession,' Cox showed that he was a multi-dimensional stud for the 90s. Cox drifted away from the scene in 2000, but not before shooting some of the best footage of his career for Seymore Butts. In 'Tampa Tushy Fest 2,' Cox tussles with Alisha Klass and Heaven Leigh in a blistering, totally unhinged threesome that's sure to get a rise out of any audience. While he seems to be taking some time off for now, Cox seems likely to make a comeback any time now. He just has too much fun at his job, as each and every frame of video will surely convince you.
