Porn Star Sandi Carey was a staple of the earliest porno scene, sexing her way through a whole host of shot-on-film features during the first days of the hardcore industry. As with many of her contemporaries, Sandi Carey never expected to find herself having sex on camera. She started out as a figure model for a variety of sassy nudie mags in the late 60's, and by the time folks were ready to start trying their hand at sex films, Sandi Carey was ready for anything. Sandi Carey starred in some of the seminal sex films, leaving no doubt that she was one woman who was fully in tune with the 'free love' vibe of the time. In some flicks you can catch a glimpse of her c-section scar, but such blemishes only serve to make Sandi Carey come across as that much more real. Sandi Carey's unforced, utterly enthusiastic performances stood as as the best scenes in some of the very first American hardcore features. It's safe to say that she was one of the earliest porno starlets this country had ever seen. Sandi Carey got her feet wet in the business in soft-core grinders like 1969's "She-Devils of the S.S." Over the next few years, she starred in a string of classic loop-type flicks, including 1970's "Love Boccaccio Style" and "Snow Bunnies." She continued to work in the industry for the next few years, landing ribald roles in flicks such as 1972's "City Women" and 1973's "Wham Bam Thank You Spaceman." Sandi Carey's endlessly energetic performances can be found in over forty features of the day (if you can track them down). Sandi Carey left the scene in 1975 after having established herself as one of the prototypes for the modern porno starlet.
