Roger T. Pipe:  Shay, thank you for sitting down to talk to your fans on the net.

Shay Sights:  No problem.

Roger T. Pipe:  Where were you born?

Shay Sights:  I was born in Canada, in Edmonton, Alberta.

Roger T. Pipe:  Did you grow up there?

Shay Sights:  No, I grew up in Vancouver on the west coast, but I've been back and forth across Canada dancing.

Roger T. Pipe:  What were you like growing up?

Shay Sights:  I did really well in school, always on the honor roll.

Shay Sights:  There were different groups at our school and I was in like the cheerleader/jock group. We partied a lot, but we weren't like the hard core, alternative rocker partiers. It's kind of miraculous that I did so well in school.

Roger T. Pipe:  How did you get into the adult industry?

Shay Sights:  I was featuring in Toronto.

Shay Sights:  There was a director up there shooting. I shot my first movie for him. It was really awful and it haunts me to this day. One of my really close friends, Dyanna Lauren told me that if I wanted to do this business, I had to be in the Valley. I was featuring in San Francisco at the time. I packed up my things, moved down here and Dyanna took me in to Vivid.

Roger T. Pipe:  Do you live in LA now?

Shay Sights:  Yes. I really like it here. A lot of people don't like the Valley, but I love it. It's very homey and easy to get from place to place.

Roger T. Pipe:  How long were you dancing before you got into movies?

Shay Sights:  A long time...

Shay Sights:  I did this business backwards. I was dancing for seven years and really worked on my shows.

Roger T. Pipe:  Do the people you grew up with know what you're doing?

Shay Sights:  Yeah they do. The only people from home that I talk to are guys and they all think it's great.

Roger T. Pipe:  Do you think they're surprised?

Shay Sights:  No.

Roger T. Pipe:  Why?

Shay Sights:  I was always pretty extroverted and sexually active in high school.

Shay Sights:  I was a huge exhibitionist. I started dancing there, so most people think it was the next logical step.

Roger T. Pipe:  What about your family?

Shay Sights:  They know... They are not super supportive, but they are OK with it.

Shay Sights:  Especially now that I've just bought a house and am investing my money. A lot of people look at porno and think of drugs and awful things.

Roger T. Pipe:  When did you make your first movie?

Shay Sights:  About two years ago.

Roger T. Pipe:  Who was that for?

Shay Sights:  That was the one in Canada, called the Great Canadian Stripper Search from Devil's Films. It was directed by Jim Gunn.

Roger T. Pipe:  Who did you do the scene with?

Shay Sights:  Miles Long.

Roger T. Pipe:  Were you nervous?

Shay Sights:  Yeah, a little. Not nearly as nervous as the first time I danced on stage. That was nerve wracking. I felt like I was in one of those dreams, but it wasn't too bad.

Roger T. Pipe:  When you were done with that first scene, did you need to think about it or had you already decided to do more?

Shay Sights:  I knew I as OK with it. I just had a feeling that this was something I was supposed to do.

Roger T. Pipe:  About how many movies have you done?

Shay Sights:  Just over fifty now.

Roger T. Pipe:  In two years?

Shay Sights:  Actually, it's only been a year. I shot two in Canada that were pretty awful, then I was dancing for a long time. I've only been here and really shooting for about a year. When I'm here, I shoot a lot.

Roger T. Pipe:  Are there any movies so far that you're really proud of?

Shay Sights:  The one I just did, Summer of Shay, was really good. That's from Wildlife. It was my first feature. There are a couple of others, "Stop, My Ass is on Fire 4" from Metro.

Roger T. Pipe:  Do you have any favorite guys to work with?

Shay Sights:  Yeah. I do most of my scenes with Miles. He is a really strong performer and has great chemistry. The last scene I did was with Miles and Michael J. Cox. I just found out that Michael is leaving the business which is bad because I really liked working with him. In my next movie, I'm doing a scene with Dillon Day and I'm really looking forward to that because I've wanted to work with him for a while.

Roger T. Pipe:  Is there anyone you are just dying to do a scene with?

Shay Sights:  I've been trying to twist Dyanna's arm enough to get her to come back and do a scene with me.

Roger T. Pipe:  Any favorite women that you have worked with?

Shay Sights:  Tanya Danielle.

Roger T. Pipe:  What was so special about her?

Shay Sights:  I have done a number of scenes with her. She has by far the best body I have ever seen in this business. She's a nice girl and she's very into women. That makes a big difference.

Roger T. Pipe:  Is sex with women something you are into off screen as well?

Shay Sights:  Yeah, I don't have a lot of time for it any more, but I love it.

Roger T. Pipe:  How tall are you?

Shay Sights:  Five-Eight.

Roger T. Pipe:  Measurements?

Shay Sights:  38DD-27-36

Roger T. Pipe:  Do you watch your own movies?

Shay Sights:  I watched the first few right away. I try to have one copy of each movie I've done, but it's hard to keep up any more. I have them in my closet and I'll watch them eventually.

Roger T. Pipe:  What are you looking for when you watch them?

Shay Sights:  Good Energy. New things that look cool on camera. Mostly it's the energy and see if it's there. Usually after a scene I can tell if it was really good. I like to see if that comes through in the final version. A good editor can make a big difference.

Roger T. Pipe:  What are your general impressions of the business so far?

Shay Sights:  I really like it. I've never really had a bad encounter. Like anything in life, there are people you want to stay away from, but everybody's really laid back. You don't have anyone passing judgment on other people.

Roger T. Pipe:  Do you have a favorite thing to do on camera?

Shay Sights:  When I can get into a good position for deep throat, it looks really cool. I've also been doing a lot of ass to mouth stuff which goes over really well. It's just so nasty.

Roger T. Pipe:  Is that something you would even think about off camera?

Shay Sights:  Actually no...

Shay Sights:  It's one of those things that will look good. I'm into my scene, but I'm also aware that people are going to be watching and knowing it's getting them off makes it hotter for me.

Roger T. Pipe:  You mentioned deep throat. Has there been anyone you can't take down your throat?

Shay Sights:  I haven't worked with a lot of guys...

Shay Sights:  I started out shooting mostly with Miles. He's my roadie and my DJ so I know where he's been. I can shoot no condom with him without a problem. I haven't worked with anyone huge yet, but so far I can take just about anyone.

Roger T. Pipe:  That must be a talent that made you quite popular.

Shay Sights:  The deep throating? You know it, especially in high school.

Roger T. Pipe:  Is there anything you won't do on camera?

Shay Sights:  No really. I'm game to try anything. There are certain things I won't do with certain people, but I'm open.

Roger T. Pipe:  Do you normally work with condoms?

Shay Sights:  I do when I work for condom-mandatory companies like Vivid and VCA. For everyone else, I'll work without. I am still debating anal with no condom. I am definitely going to use them on my first DP shoot coming up.

Roger T. Pipe:  Do you think the industry is doing enough to protect performers from HIV?

Shay Sights:  I think the mandatory DNA tests are great. It's a pretty safe industry. The bigger companies can get away with condoms, but the smaller companies have to work in their niche. Extreme, Evil Angel, Anabolic and them have to work around them. They have to do some things without.

Roger T. Pipe:  How would you say your on screen personality reflects or differs from the every day you?

Shay Sights:  I am pretty much the same on and off screen. Except in some of the strange fetish stuff I do.

Roger T. Pipe:  Any unfulfilled fantasies that you want to act out on film?

Shay Sights:  I still want to go to a gay shoot and watch. Other than that, I've gotten to do most of them. I got to do a guy in the ass with a strap-on which was cool.

Roger T. Pipe:  What are your plans within the adult industry?

Shay Sights:  I just signed a contract with Wildlife to do features. I'm not shooting as much and concentrating on my web site and feature dancing. I am really dedicated to the site.

Roger T. Pipe:  Let's talk a little bit about the contract with Wildlife. It's a non-exclusive?

Shay Sights:  It is a non-exclusive. I am going to be shooting with a lot of different guys for them. In my other scenes, I will mostly be working with Miles or another girl.

Roger T. Pipe:  You do a lot of feature dancing, do you have any favorite regions of the country for dancing?

Shay Sights:  I have favorite clubs. There is a club in Columbus, Ohio called 'Columbus Gold' that I just love. There is a club in Charleston called 'Southern Bell.'

Roger T. Pipe:  What makes for a great club?

Shay Sights:  Great house girls, great staff and management. Treating me right, being laid back. I don't like working around uptight, grumpy people. I don't drink at all, I'm reliable and no one ever has a problem with me, so I like working with people who treat me with respect.

Roger T. Pipe:  Any tattoos or body piercing?

Shay Sights:  Nope.

Roger T. Pipe:  Any plans for any?

Shay Sights:  Probably not. I don't think so. I get a lot of people who tell me that it's a nice change.

Roger T. Pipe:  What are your outside interests?

Shay Sights:  I have two dogs. If you read my site you will get your fill of them. They are a lot of work, but I love them. I garden a lot and exercise. I'm not so into the gym any more, but I do yoga and go running.

Roger T. Pipe:  Gardening must be easier here that back home in Canada?

Shay Sights:  Yeah it is. I'm really a homebody. I just bought a house and I do a lot of fixing up and gardening.

Roger T. Pipe:  So you plan to live here for a while?

Shay Sights:  Oh yeah. This is where all the talent is.

Roger T. Pipe:  What do you look for in a man or woman?

Shay Sights:  I like nice, honest good people. I'm not into heavy partying. I don't mind if people do it, as long as they aren't complete fuck ups. I like people who are responsible. As far as relationships go, I'm a sucker for romance. I love romance. I get enough sex at work.

Roger T. Pipe:  Between dancing and performing on video, which do you prefer?

Shay Sights:  I have the best of both worlds. I was just dancing for a long time...

Shay Sights:  That's tough and I get really burnt out when I'm on the road. Then I get to come home and shoot and it's a nice combination. They go hand in hand with the web site as well.

Roger T. Pipe:  Do people recognize you in public?

Shay Sights:  I was in the yogurt store the other day, I usually don't wear make up, but that day I had full make up on for a shoot. The girl behind the counter recognized me. She said she had seen my movies and loved them. I can see that happening in an adult store, but in the yogurt store? I told Dyanna and she told me to get used to it.

Roger T. Pipe:  If you could pick anyone on the planet to do a scene with, who would it be?

Shay Sights:  Other than Dyanna Lauren? I would love to do a scene with Madonna. Though Madonna a few years ago. She's too mom-ish for me now. I would just like to see if she's as sexual as she talks about being.

Roger T. Pipe:  Anything you would like to say to the fans?
