Roger T. Pipe:  No one who has watched more than a handful of porn vids in the 90's can say he hasn't seen Tiffany Mynx. Throughout her legendary career, she has been a star, a director and is a sure fire, first ballot, hall of fame performer. In spite my usual excellent organizational skills, just sitting down with this incredibly sexy woman had me quite flustered and she just rolls her eyes at me as I struggle to find my pen, my tape recorder and pad of paper.

Tiffany Mynx:  You sure you're ready?

Roger T. Pipe:  Yeah, I've got it now. Thank you very much for taking the time to speak with me, and may I say you look lovely.

Tiffany Mynx:   Thank you, that's very sweet.

Roger T. Pipe:  Let's start with the basics. When is your birthday?

Tiffany Mynx:  October 10, 1971.

Roger T. Pipe:  A week before mine, though I'm a bit older.

Tiffany Mynx:  So you're a Libra too. I like Libras, they're nice people. I get along with every one I have met.

Roger T. Pipe:  Where were you born?

Tiffany Mynx:  Upland, California.

Roger T. Pipe:  Have you lived in California all your life?

Tiffany Mynx:  Yeah, never lived anywhere else.

Roger T. Pipe:  How tall are you?

Tiffany Mynx:  Five three and three quarters.

Roger T. Pipe:  Measurements?

Tiffany Mynx:  34D-23-36

Roger T. Pipe:  When did you start working in the adult industry?

Tiffany Mynx:  February, 1992.

Roger T. Pipe:  Was that still modeling or movies?

Tiffany Mynx:  The very first thing I ever did was a Penthouse video. I can't remember what it's called. It was the one with the Harley Davidson motorcycles. I did that first and then I did a movie.

Roger T. Pipe:  Was that also in February of 92?

Tiffany Mynx:  Yes.

Roger T. Pipe:  Who was it for?

Tiffany Mynx:  It was for VCA. It was called the DJ.

Roger T. Pipe:  You've been in and out of the adult movie biz for six and a half years, about how many movies have you done so far?

Tiffany Mynx:  Around two hundred fifty.

Roger T. Pipe:  What was it like the first time on set?

Tiffany Mynx:  It was different. It wasn't like anything I had ever done before. I was a virgin, I was a first timer. It was my first scene so everyone else on the set that day was hanging around watching. They were doing things in the room too, giving blowjobs, having three ways and stuff so it wasn't like I was the only one in the room having sex. So I felt a little more at ease, but I was still a bit uncomfortable because my first scene was with a girl and I had never been with another girl before.

Roger T. Pipe:  Really?

Tiffany Mynx:  Yeah, I was new to that, and not knowing exactly what to do was a little difficult. Add to that, being on camera for the first time and all this other action going on all around me, I was kind of in a daze. It was different. No other set has been like that ever. Most of the time it's more professional, one scene at a time.

Roger T. Pipe:  So it was your first time on camera and your first time with a woman? Who was the girl?

Tiffany Mynx:  Her name was Shanelle. I don't think she's in the business anymore.

Roger T. Pipe:  Was it her first time as well?

Tiffany Mynx:  No.

Roger T. Pipe:  Did she kind of take the lead?

Tiffany Mynx:  Exactly, she kind of did everything first and I did it back to her and tried to play to the camera. She showed me how to hold my hair back, all the little things to help work the camera.

Roger T. Pipe:  You work a lot with other women now, was it something you just knew from the start you wanted to keep doing?

Tiffany Mynx:  Yeah, it was fun. Working with girls is different then working with guys. The girl scenes were fun for me. I learned more as I went along from other girls, what makes us feel good. I can make other girls feel good now because I've learned new things.

Roger T. Pipe:  Is this a private life thing as well?

Tiffany Mynx:  It's mostly on screen. Every once in a while something will happen off screen. It's not something I really look for, but if it happens, it happens.

Roger T. Pipe:  Who was your first boy/girl scene with?

Tiffany Mynx:  Tony Tedeschi.

Roger T. Pipe:  How was that?

Tiffany Mynx:  It was easier than the first scene. I had been with guys before, I knew all about that. The only thing was taking the pop shot in my face. That was the first time I had done that.

Roger T. Pipe:  You were just breaking out new things all over the place.

Tiffany Mynx:  Yep, new things, new positions, new everything. It was great.

Roger T. Pipe:  Was that first scene an anal?

Tiffany Mynx:  No, that also made it easier. I started doing anal after my first week. I don't remember who was the first, but I know I worked for Max shortly after that.

Roger T. Pipe:  Does your family know what you do?

Tiffany Mynx:  Yeah, they do.

Roger T. Pipe:  What do they think?

Tiffany Mynx:  They think it's cool actually. I've been doing it for a long time and I never did it behind their back. Even after the first movie, I came home, called my mom and told her what I had done. I was a single mom, I was on my own and I had to make a living. I was very excited to make that much money for one day of work. I was on different terms with my family at that time, so I just told them it was what I was doing and I like it, so they accepted it. They were happy that I was making money and happy with what I was doing.

Roger T. Pipe:  It's always nice when you have that kind of support.

Tiffany Mynx:  Oh yeah, they are very supportive. I get movie ideas from my mom all the time. She likes to put her input in.

Roger T. Pipe:  Of the two hundred and fifty movies you've done, which do you think are you best?

Tiffany Mynx:  I'd have to say 'Asswoman.' That was everything for me. I came up with the idea, hired the people, made some of the costumes. I was running around like a crazy person trying to get that thing done. Looking for props, I did it all. I acted and directed it.

Roger T. Pipe:  It was excellent.

Tiffany Mynx:  Thank you, I'm very happy with it.

Roger T. Pipe:  Are you going to be directing any more?

Tiffany Mynx:  Maybe some more next year. I want to concentrate on acting right now and just put out some really good scenes. I love working for Tommy and Van's put me in a couple of his movies lately. I have been able to do good scenes for both of them, but I told Rob I wanted to do some movies he directs like 'Miscreants.' I want to get some good scripts and have him direct me in some good movies. I want to work on making some good ones as an actress. Then maybe next year if I do any directing it will be a co-directing thing with Rob. It was just too much to do alone. I think together we could come up with something really great.

Roger T. Pipe:  Has anything been printed about you that wasn't true.

Tiffany Mynx:  Yes, that I live in a trailer park, but I don't know if that was AVN or Adam Film World. I believe it was Adam Film World.

Roger T. Pipe:  Somebody printed that you lived in a trailer park?

Tiffany Mynx:  When I left the business, I just left. I was pregnant and I decided I was going to have another baby and I didn't want to have anyone bothering me about lactating video or pregnant videos. So I just disappeared, and they thought I had disappeared for good, so they had to make up something about me to write.

Roger T. Pipe:  How long were you away?

Tiffany Mynx:  I left in March of 95 and I came back in May of 96, so just over one year.

Roger T. Pipe:  It sure seemed like longer than that.

Tiffany Mynx:  I know. It seemed like it to me too, but I started back, doing some g/g scenes for Jim Holiday. I did 'Sorority Sex Kittens 3' for him. Then I went to Elegant Angel and I was there until I went with Extreme.

Roger T. Pipe:  You did some great work with Elegant. 'Buttwoman 97' was really good.

Tiffany Mynx:  Well, I'm Asswoman now, because I'm more extreme that I was before.

Roger T. Pipe:  That should be a t shirt. Any favorite directors to work for?

Tiffany Mynx:  Rob has been really good. Patrick always got good performances from me and John Leslie. I always liked working for John a lot.

Roger T. Pipe:  Any favorite males to work with?

Tiffany Mynx:  I like working with Tommy. Van's good too, but I've worked with Tommy for a long time and always said he was my favorite. We have a great chemistry on camera.

Roger T. Pipe:  How about any favorite females?

Tiffany Mynx:  I really liked Debi Diamond. Caressa Savage was a lot of fun, but Debi was my favorite.

Roger T. Pipe:  What about Katilyn Ashley, did you ever work with her?

Tiffany Mynx:  I believe I did. I can't remember the name of the movie. There are so many.

Roger T. Pipe:  I do need to tell you that I have, in my office, over the desk, a picture of you and Kaitlyn that you both signed for me. It's from an old photo shoot the two of you did.

Tiffany Mynx:  I remember that. We were so new, and we had the little pink panties and socks on. I look at those pictures when fans bring them at signings and I can't believe how young I was. I've changed so much over the years.

Roger T. Pipe:  Is there anyone you have never been able to work with, but would really like to?

Tiffany Mynx:  Not at this point, but I am checking out new male talent in the business to add to my list. I want some new meat. There are guys you like to work with and guys you don't. It's nice to work with guys you like because the scenes are better, and I want to go for awards baby.

Roger T. Pipe:  Like Performer of the Year?

Tiffany Mynx:  Sure, if they decide to give it to me some time. It's something to keep striving for.

Roger T. Pipe:  Do you watch your own movies?

Tiffany Mynx:  I watched 'Asswoman.' I used to, when I first started I would watch them a lot, but just for the dialog. I'd watch some of the sex, but usually, it was fast forward to the dialog for me.

Roger T. Pipe:  Do you prefer dialog to sex scenes?

Tiffany Mynx:  I prefer sex over dialog, but every once in a while I don't mind getting a good dialog role so that I can act and play a character. I haven't really had enough acting roles I my career and I would like some every once in a while so I can show my acting ability as well. I'd like to win an acting award at some point, but you have to have a good role for that. No one has really given me that chance. I've had little roles, but nothing really big that I have ever been excited to play.

Roger T. Pipe:  Why do you think that is?

Tiffany Mynx:  I honestly don't know. I've had a few, but not nearly as many as I would like. Where I am the star and get to play a role through the whole movie.

Roger T. Pipe:  Earlier this year, you made the move from Elegant Angel to Extreme Associates. Why did you make that move?

Tiffany Mynx:  Because I wasn't happy at Elegant Angel. When I heard the guys weren't happy either, and that they were leaving, I just felt so strongly that I needed to be with them. I felt that they were the company. I didn't feel that things were going down fairly and I didn't want to be stuck there if I wasn't going to be happy. I really believed in the strength of the three and that I needed to be the fourth person there with them.

Roger T. Pipe:  How are things going so far?

Tiffany Mynx:  We're just sticking together, sticking through things. We're just like a little family. As a company we're growing and it's very exciting. We don't know where we're going to be next year, but it's exciting. We've come a long way.

Roger T. Pipe:  What are you general impressions of the business.

Tiffany Mynx:  I think there are a lot of very cool people in this business, some people I can't wait to see in Vegas.

Roger T. Pipe:  Do you like shows like that?

Tiffany Mynx:  I like seeing people I don't see very often, and I love the dressing up part. I get to wear all these sexy shoes I don't normally get to wear.

Roger T. Pipe:  You mean you don't walk around in six inch spikes?

Tiffany Mynx:  No, I'm usually in jeans, T-shirts and tennis shoes.

Roger T. Pipe:  Do you have any favorite things to do on camera?

Tiffany Mynx:  I love giving blowjobs. That's my favorite thing to do.

Roger T. Pipe:  Amazingly enough, most guys like to get them.

Tiffany Mynx:  Yeah, that works out for all of us. It makes me so happy that it worked out that way.

Roger T. Pipe:  How you would say your on screen personality reflects or differs from your off screen personality.

Tiffany Mynx:  Oh, it's totally different. I am more aggressive in scenes. I'm more of a submissive at home, but every once in a while, Tiffany will come out and I can be a wild girl. I am bouncier on film. At home, I am very mellow and quiet. Sexually, I'm not mellow once you get me started, but I am submissive.

Roger T. Pipe:  Is there anything you won't do on camera?

Tiffany Mynx:  Yeah. I don't think I'm going to be doing any double anals or double vaginals. I'm sticking to one at a time, but that's about it.

Roger T. Pipe:  Maybe a gang bang at some point?

Tiffany Mynx:  I think maybe one of those in the future. Have to keep you guys waiting a while longer. It's something I will do once, so I want it done just the way I want, with all the right people.

Roger T. Pipe:  Sign me up now. Do you still do feature dancing.

Tiffany Mynx:  Yes, though I don't have any dates scheduled. I will get started after CES on some bookings.

Roger T. Pipe:  What are your outside interests?

Tiffany Mynx:  I love to fish.

Roger T. Pipe:  Fish?

Tiffany Mynx:  Fishing is my passion.

Roger T. Pipe:  What do you like about fishing?

Tiffany Mynx:  I don't know, I just love being outdoors, the anticipation of catching a fish and seeing what it looks like when you get it to the surface. I like hiking through the mountains, smelling the trees and the fresh air. I love eating fish and cooking on campfires. I've done it since I was a kid. It reminds me of times I spent with my grandpa and my dad, good childhood memories. My dream is to catch a fish that weighs more than I do. I am going to do that one day.

Roger T. Pipe:  What are you career goals?

Tiffany Mynx:  I would just like to make a few more really good movies in the next couple of years. I don't want to be doing this when I'm older. I'd like to be remembered in my youth.

Roger T. Pipe:  So, no big comeback movies when you're fifty.

Tiffany Mynx:  No. If I do a comeback movie, it will be footage that is shot now and locked up in a vault for twenty years.

Roger T. Pipe:  How do you deal with the HIV situation?

Tiffany Mynx:  I test like everyone else. I don't work a lot and I am very picky about who I work with. It's still a roll of the dice, but I deal with it. I am as cautious as I can be. Mainly I work with the contract guys working for us, Tommy, Van, Luciano and Ian Daniels who I like to work with. A lot of these guys are working for companies that are condoms only, so they are wearing condoms all the time when they are working with other people. I feel all right about it, I think I can hang another couple of years. I have tapered off so much, I don't really work much at all now.

Roger T. Pipe:  Do you think the industry is doing enough to help inform the performers and keep them safe?

Tiffany Mynx:  Yes, I think the industry has made a great effort since the situation has come about this year. It's a lot better than when I started. I wish someone had sat down with me and showed me a video tape. I think it's good what they are doing now. They are being very informative so that everyone knows what's going on when they start out.

Roger T. Pipe:  If main stream Hollywood were making a movie about the porn industry, who would you want to play you?

Tiffany Mynx:  Wow. God, who could play me? Maybe Rosanne Arquette. I think she would be good.

Roger T. Pipe:  OK, now we have to get serious for a bit. People have told me, that you always said you would never get implants. Recently, you did just that. Care to talk about why you made that decision?

Tiffany Mynx:  Even before I started in this business, before the Penthouse video, I had a girlfriend who had implants and I thought they were cool. I had already had a son and I didn't like my breasts any more. So I got into this business thinking I could make money and get my boobs done. When I started, everybody, photographers, directors and eventually fans told me not to change anything, so I never did. I always wanted to for myself, but everyone told me not to. Last year I went through a change. I left my husband, left Elegant Angel and started the new company. It was like a whole life and I decided I was on my own and I was going to do things for me. Just because Patrick put on this poll and made a big deal of it, people think I was pressured that way. Not true. I did it for me because I always wanted to.

Roger T. Pipe:  Well, you look great, as always.

Tiffany Mynx:  Thank you, I'm very happy with them. I told the doctor I didn't want them big, just fill up what I've got and I'll be happy. I just want them to look as natural as possible.

Roger T. Pipe:  How do they feel?

Tiffany Mynx:  They feel great. They are very soft, they went under the muscle and through my armpit so there is really no scar at all. They didn't mess with my nipples, they aren't crooked, I'm very happy with them.

Roger T. Pipe:  Is there anything you would like to say to the fans reading this?

Tiffany Mynx:  If you've written to my fan club in the last few months and haven't heard back, I am really sorry. I am working on that now and will be caught up soon. Don't fret, I will write.

Roger T. Pipe:  You write back to all your fans personally?

Tiffany Mynx:  Yes I do, and it's a lot of work. I've been moving a lot lately, so I am trying to set up my office again and I am getting to them.

Roger T. Pipe:  Anything else?

Tiffany Mynx:  Just that I am very happy with all the changes I have made in the last year. I've been through a lot, different companies, different relationships and I think I can do better work now that I am happy. I left a guy who was not supportive of what I do and it was very hard. Now I have that freedom. I have control I can do what I want. I don't have someone telling me what I can and can not do. I am doing it for me now and it feels really good.

Roger T. Pipe:  OK, is that it?

Tiffany Mynx:  One more thing. Iroc wants to know why you don't like the feet.

Roger T. Pipe:  She what? I never said I don't like her feet.

Tiffany Mynx:  She's hurt because she think you're never going to give her a good review because you always have something to say about her feet or her tattoo.

Roger T. Pipe:  OK, now, I don't like tattoos that big. That much I'll admit, but I have never singled out her feet. I just don't happen to get feet, they aren't my thing.

Tiffany Mynx:  That's what I told her, some people like that, others don't.

Roger T. Pipe:  I don't dislike her at all, in fact, I always point out for people who do like feet, that she seems to be very skilled in that area. I gave her a good review in 'Asswoman.' She just happened to be in a scene with you and Stryc9 and I have a big crush there.

Tiffany Mynx:  You do huh? Ummmm, I'm gonna tell.

Roger T. Pipe:  You tell Iroc anytime she wants to do an interview and show me her feet, we can clear this whole thing up.
