Roger T. Pipe:  I am lucking out today. At these shows, you are lucky if you might see 2 or so of the legends in the industry walking around. It is mostly the newbie girls. But, I'm getting one of the legends today. This is one of the most important girls that was doing movies from the late 80's to the early 90's...

Danielle Rodgers:  Yes...1989 to 1992.

Roger T. Pipe:  This is Danielle Rodgers. Hi, how are you doing?

Danielle Rodgers:  I'm doing terrific!

Roger T. Pipe:  What are you doing at this show, I thought we kind of lost you there?

Danielle Rodgers:  Well, you did. What I'm doing here today is a comeback. I'm back in the business. It's been 6 almost 7 years. I left because I had children. And I bought a fitness club in Philadelphia. Then I sold that and started a distribution company for sales. Learned a lot about marketing, opening a location, how to scout people and interview, motivationals. Basically, it well rounded me to be able to come back and market myself now, instead of working for other people. Which I still do in scenes for some side money? Since I've been away it is a lot different. And throughout the last year, I decided to take the plunge into my own line.

Roger T. Pipe:  So you have your own production company. What's the name of your new company?

Danielle Rodgers:  Danni Etc! Danni is Danielle for short. It's the new me as my fans are concerned. It's kind of hard when you are shooting throughout the years for all these other people. I grew up as a model, since I was 10 years old. And I fell into this business in '89. And it was tough because they weren't doing anything that I really liked. There was no high fashion edge to it, no respect, if that's the right word for women in this business. It was all "show us your ass and tits and let's shoot this and have sex," it was nothing real for me. So I finally have enough courage and the know how to tackle this. Bring a little bit of the real Danielle Rodgers, which I now call myself Danni Etc! The Etc. is for the unlimited amounts of different stuff I'm doing; dancing, the old classic strip tease, with a modern flair to it. Also, my own video line where I'm doing real movies. I just wrote a script called, "Feel Real." Hoping to start shooting that soon. Then finding new talent. And more T&A, pretty stuff. Not what you've seen yet. When you say "T&A," people just say, "oh, it's soft and it's dreamy." No, this is real. It might take you in a dream, hopefully.

Roger T. Pipe:  So what are some of the titles, cause I know the guys reading this are gonna want to know.

Danielle Rodgers:  The first one is called, "Danni Etc!". Cause I want to introduce to the fans and the people that know me that it's me. My first marketing is so everyone knows that Danni is me. We are also doing voyeuristic stuff. We go into places that you really shouldn't be doing stuff. You know.

Roger T. Pipe:  Oh really...like...

Danielle Rodgers:  We went to a VONS supermarket not long ago. It was so funny...(laughing)

Roger T. Pipe:  You did it in a supermarket!

Danielle Rodgers:  CBS loves our stuff. They want to buy our stuff.

Roger T. Pipe:  CBS the network. The one that shows all the old people TV shows? They're gonna show you having sex in a supermarket?

Danielle Rodgers:  I didn't say I had sex. I didn't say that. I said voyeuristic. And I'm not gonna tell you how voyeuristic it is. It's very cute and girl next door. Normal girl looking, doing peek-a-boo stuff.

Roger T. Pipe:  Like reaching for the high counter trying to reach the product that is just out of reach.

Danielle Rodgers:  Exactly. And doing little commercial inserts as I pick up and hold up a tube of Preparation H. (Smiling)

Roger T. Pipe:  Oh, I'm sure those companies are loving that. (Rolling eyes)

Danielle Rodgers:  I'm going through the isles wondering what else I can do now.

Roger T. Pipe:  Just keep you away from the produce section.

Danielle Rodgers:  Exactly. I almost went there, but that's typical. I wanted to do something different.

Roger T. Pipe:  So now you're doing the boy/girl stuff.

Danielle Rodgers:  Sure, I haven't stepped into that yet. This first one (video) is all about, how I really want to...what's it called...I just have this thing in my head, to show people who I really am. And it almost makes me want to cry in a way...(kinda upset) When I came back into the business, it wasn't with open arms, it was real strange.

Roger T. Pipe:  Really.

Danielle Rodgers:  I worked so hard in the old days and I really did not get any of that. Very sad, It was very, very sad. I don't look that bad do I. (Showing off her body)

Roger T. Pipe:  You look pretty darn good!

Danielle Rodgers:  Everyone now is so focused on new talent, and I'm saying, "What about real, what about us knowing how to react to the cameras." What about those things.

Roger T. Pipe:  The star quality.

Danielle Rodgers:  What happened to that? And you know, "we don't pay your rate, we got new girls now for $300." I say, "when you want someone then who knows what they are doing, then call me." Don't call me and tease me, "we want to use you for something, what's you rate?" And I tell you and you freak. When you want me, then you call me. Know what I mean. I had to fight that all year.

Roger T. Pipe:  Really.

Danielle Rodgers:  They eventually came around. By doing that when they really needed an actress (pointing to herself) I did well for them. "Ritual" is a very good movie I shot for VCA Pictures.

Roger T. Pipe:  That's getting all sorts of great reviews.

Danielle Rodgers:  And Randy Spears and I did the commercial scene in the movie. It goes to black and white in the film. It's a very hot scene. A lot of people are talking about it.

Roger T. Pipe:  Weren't the two of you married?

Danielle Rodgers:  Yes...we are separated...I love Randy, he's the father of my kids. We just decided that we would go our own way...you know...it's good.

Roger T. Pipe:  Is it weird working in the same business as Randy.

Danielle Rodgers:  Yes, in fact...Randy is somewhere else right now, I haven't seen him. I don't want to say here in print. He's somewhere else. It's been a therapy thing for me. It's good that I'm not seeing him right now. But when he comes back, it's just in time that I'm starting my new business, so I don't have to go on sets anymore. I have a 12 picture deal with Snatch Productions.

Roger T. Pipe:  What are some of the titles you are doing with them?

Danielle Rodgers:  "Reflections", I shot for Adam & Eve. "Electric Sex" is an awesome movie. I just did it with Jewel De'Nyle. That film was for New Sensations. I've done about 20, a lot for K-Beech. They are Farrah's movies, but I do all her dialog. Know what I mean...(laughing) read between the lines.

Roger T. Pipe:  Kind of a resemblance between the two of you.

Danielle Rodgers:  Yes, everyone thinks she's my sister. We had a very hot scene in a hot tub. It was in "Talk Dirty To Me Part 11." I also shot with her in "Route 69." There is so many I shot with them. Cash Markman is an old friend of mine from the old Legend days, where you all know me from. He now is independent and writes and directs his own projects. K-Beech is one of the companies he sells his movies to.

Roger T. Pipe:  Well, we'll look for you in the future Snatch titles, and in the new Danni Etc. titles.

Danielle Rodgers:  Yes, Danni's back and she's all grown up now. She's had some life experiences, and I'm a woman now. I used to freak when I had to work with guys, like I can't do that. So I only worked with Randy. I didn't care if he did it with other people, I just didn't want any part of it. But now I know why he was doing it. He's 6 years older than me, he was in that realm that I am in now, he was then. I love it now, it's real, and I won't work with a guy unless it's with somebody who I can get in their aura and we can have a good time. If you fake it, it's not good. Why even do it. So you can count on that from me.
